The Technology Transfer Office (TTO) of the PR Science Trust serves as the primary bridge between Puerto Rico’s research community and the global market by identifying, protecting, and commercializing intellectual property. Through patent management, licensing agreements, and strategic guidance, the TTO transforms local scientific discoveries into viable commercial assets that drive economic growth and innovation on the island.

We will present how the institution structures and manages its technology transfer office, while sharing success cases and key learnings from international collaboration.
